WELCOME TO PASTOR JEFF STURDIVANT'S PERSONAL PAGE
This is my wonderful Family! From Left to Right Aaron Sturdivant The Ham and my baby, Sue Sturdivant my wonderful wife, Ambers Sturdivant my oldest son, Kayla Sturdivant My cheerleader Daughter, Me Pastor Jeff, And The WORLD'S GREATEST DAD.
I have a new forum online where you can get God's answer to
that tough bible question you have had for years! A small word from Pastor Jeff My Goal is to answer each question with only the scripture, or history from The word of God. As well to not get any denominational nor personal beliefs involved in these answers. My outlook on study is simple GOD'S WORD is RIGHT no matter what! And we can and should be always growing and learning, remember if the scriptures are hid they are hid from the lost, and we have the spirit of truth who will teach us. And the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness
and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all
thy name. Click Image above to enter Scripturally Speaking
Jesus's hours upon the Cross It starts with the soldiers nailing Christ to the cross, By making him lay down upon the the cross. As he cries out in pain becouse of his back. (Matt.27:26.....And when he had scourged Jesus, He delivered him to be crucified.) As his head hits the cross he cries out again (Matt.27:29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, And a reed in his right hand...) The soldier no doubt laughs as he mocks him saying some king,While placing the nail in the palm of Christ's hand. Then the THUD of the hammer as it strikes the nail, Christ cries out in agony. The soldier laughs some son of God. And goes to the other hand lets see your Father save you now, then he grabs Jesus's hand without mercy as he nails the nail in his other hand. Christ cries out almost ready to pass out from the pain. Then the soldier grabbs our Saviors feet and nails them to the cross, as Christ cries out the more as his back rubs over the tree.The soldiers let him rest just one moment while getting ready to lower the cross into the hole.THUD the cross falls into the hole as it stands up, Christ almost passing out in pain from the intensive pain. Christ crying out in agony. As his hands rip from the nails, his feet tearing, his back smacking the cross , His head hits the cross driving the crown of thorns into his head deeper. As he hangs on the tree he has to push his body up to breath. As he gasps for breath his back rubs the cross causing him intense pain. So the air he breathes does not do much good, As he sagged on the cross the weight of his body pulled on the nails in his hands. And he would start to suffucate and haft to push his self up again this went on till he died. The third hour 9:00 a.m. Mark15:25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. Luke23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Mark15:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Matt.27:39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, 40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Mark15:31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. Luke23:36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. Luke23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. Luke23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Luke23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. John19:26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. The sixth hour Noon Mark15:33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? John19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. 29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. John19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Luke23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. The Ninth hour 3:00p.m. Matt.27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
